PFPE Fluids
ADVACO offers both Krytox and Fomblin PerFlouroPolyEther (PFPE) fluids for use in vacuum pumps exposed to corrosive applications. The Krytox fluid is offered in three different grades while Fomblin is offered in four different grades. Generally speaking the Fomblin Y14/6 and Krytox 1514 are designed for use in traditional rotary vane vacuum pumps. Roots-type blowers benefit from the use of Fomblin Y25/6 and/or Krytox 1525, which are the least viscose of the PFPE fluids.Krytox and Fomblin products are sold by the kilogram (500cc bottle) in any volume required. Eight kilograms equal approximately one gallon of fluid.
