The first major repair service offered by Advanced Vacuum
Company at its inception in 1972 was for the work-horse of
the industry at the time, the rotary-vane vacuum pump. ADVACO’s
extensive knowledge of rotary-vane vacuum pump repair and
state-of-the-art facility enables us to offer service that
is unsurpassed in the industry. All rotary vane vacuum pumps,
including Alcatel, Leybold, BOC Edwards, Welch, Precision,

Rotary
Vane Pump Assembly |
The rebuild process for your rotary vane vacuum pump will
begin with complete disassembly and cleaning in order to assess
the condition of all critical components of the pump. All
consumable parts are quoted for replacement and major parts
are inspected for scoring, hot spots, burrs, pitting, corrosion,
and general wear. Depending on the severity of damage, any
necessary major parts are quoted for remanufacturing or replacement.
The electric motor is also inspected during the evaluation
and will be quoted for repair as needed. Once the evaluation
of your pump is completed a detailed failure analysis report
and firm rebuild quote will be forwarded to you for review
and approval.

|
| Extensive
testing is performed after every rebuild. |
After approval of the rebuild has been received all parts
will go through a final cleaning before assembly by a trained
vacuum pump technician. Assembly is followed by a 24 hour
run-in of the pump and testing on ADVACO’s computerized
test system. The ADVACO test system monitors ultimate vacuum,
time to base pressure, pumping speed, and stability of speed.
This gives you the most complete picture of your rebuilt pumps
performance. Once performance is verified to meet new pump
specifications, the rebuilt pump is painted the appropriate
OEM color and prepared for return shipment to your facility
