Advanced Vacuum Company offers complete repair services for
Stokes (BOC Edwards) and Leybold rotary-piston vacuum pumps.
With over 32 years of experience servicing rotary-piston vacuum
pumps we understand the environments these pumps are exposed
to and the performance demands placed on them. ADVACO has perfected
several remanufacturing techniques for the rotary piston vacuum
pump that restore critical tolerances while at the same time
dramatically reduce the overall rebuild price.
Every rotary piston pump rebuild begins with complete disassembly
and cleaning before the evaluation is performed. During the
evaluation all critical tolerances are measured and noted
on a detailed failure analysis report that will be forwarded
to you for review, along with the final rebuild quotation.
The standard rebuild of a piston pump will include o-rings,
gaskets, seals, freeze plugs, keys, valve springs, valve clappers,
valve seats, bearings, sight glass, oil flow indicator, ball
valves, solenoid valve, and a rebuilt oil separator.

More extensive ADVACO rebuilds include oversize boring of
the hinge bar area in custom increments up to .750” oversize.
Custom hinge bars with spacer are then manufactured in-house
to match the new bore dimension. This technique results in the
restoration of a critical pump tolerance while maximizing the
useable life of your pump. ADVACO is also capable of remanufacturing
pistons and eccentrics which will minimize the expense of costly
major parts during the rebuild.

All

After assembly by a trained ADVACO technician all pumps are
run for a period of 24 hours and tested on our computerized
test system. Once performance is verified to meet new pump
specifications, the pump is painted and prepared for shipment
back to your facility.
All ADVACO piston pump rebuilds are covered by our exclusive
one year warranty, from the date of installation, against
defects in parts and workmanship. This warranty is particularly
beneficial if you maintain an inventory of spare pumps because
your rebuild warranty will not start until the pump is physically
placed into service.

Because of this we offer customized services that can be tailored
to suit each customer’s individual needs. Below is a

- Hydrocarbon or PFPE (Fomblin/Krytox) fluid preparation
- Installation of customer specific motors
- Installation of customer specific fittings, gauges, and/or
valves
- Standard or stainless steel freeze plugs
- New or old style exhaust valve assemblies
- Zytel or stainless steel exhaust clappers
