Advanced Vacuum Company offers extensive repair services for
your CTI cryogenic cold-heads. Models serviced include standard,
flat, and on-board configurations. Every cryogenic cold-head
rebuild begins with complete disassembly and decontamination.
Once thoroughly cleaned our technicians will inspect all pump
parts for wear or damage. The standard rebuild of your cold-head
will include a complete rebuilding of the drive unit and displacer
assembly. The following components will be replaced during
a standard rebuild:
- Displacer seals
- Set screws
- Gland retaining ring
- Driver retaining ring
- Kap seal
- Bearings

- Rocker arm bushings
- Compression springs
- Indium gaskets
- New 15K charcoal array

Cold-Head Rebuild Kit |
If any major component damage is detected it will be noted on
the failure analysis report and quoted to you upon the completion
of the evaluation. After approval of the quoted rebuild our
factory trained technicians will reassemble your pump with the
components listed above and it will be tested for a minimum
period of 24 hours. A computer print out of the test report
will be returned with the rebuilt pump.
All ADVACO cryogenic pump rebuilds are covered by our exclusive
one year warranty, from the date of installation, against
defects in parts and workmanship.
| Cryogenic Compressor Repair Services |
In order to keep your complete cryogenic system operating
properly, ADVACO also offers repair services for your CTI
cryogenic compressors. All compressors can be serviced, from
the older SC compressor to the latest CTI models. ADVACO’s
scope of repair for CTI cryo compressor includes:
- Evacuation of helium lines
- Bake out lines
- Backfill with helium
- Change compressor oil
- Leak check unit (for oil and/or gas leaks)
- Replace adsorber
- Troubleshoot and repair compressor as needed
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical system as needed
- Repair/replace damaged fittings as needed

All cryo compressor repairs are quoted upon evaluation and
based on the parts and labor necessary to restore proper performance.
ADVACO warrants that all materials and labor pertaining to
the specific repairs performed during the time of service
shall be free of defects in parts and workmanship for a period
of one year. Failure of components unrelated to a previous
repair, are not covered under warranty.
