ADVACO’s MPF Vacuum Pump Oil Filtration Systems have been designed for high volume filtration of large oil sealed rotary vane and rotary piston vacuum pumps. The MPF series filtration systems offer a variety of filtering media options including particulate as fine as one micron, hydrophilic, activated charcoal, activated alumina, and fullers earth. Additional filter media are available for specific applications. Each system features a heavy duty circulating pump designed for industrial service, high volume oil filter housing(s), and automatic overpressure protection which makes the MPF systems suitable for the most grueling applications. These units have proven effective at removing water, chemicals, and/or particulates from oil in vacuum pumps used in heat treating, alloy melting, investment casting, chemical processing, coating, and refrigerant backfilling. Vacuum pump oil change intervals are greatly extended, resulting in significant reductions in hazardous waste oil generation. Average pump life is also prolonged leading to additional savings on maintenance costs.
